I recently got an amazing bargain in Next. I had been having a majorly stressful week and went window shopping only to leave with 3 PAIRS OF SHOES & TWO PAIRS OF TROUSERS for….wait for it…. £26. So happs. So the burgundy cords (shown here in my interview outfit post) were £8! The lilac trousers with belt were £6!! The mint suede court heels were £5 reduced from £38!! The lilac suede pumps were £3!!! Finally, the floral espadrilles were £4!!! I still can’t quite believe my luck, summer sorted.
I also managed to buy some really cheap mint green and pale peach wool along with white suede cord and gold earring hooks for under £5 altogether at Dunelm Mill. Was so pleased and preparing to make some pom pom earrings…watch this space!! xoxo
I have decided to create a Tumblr account! Still getting to grips with it all but I’ve decided to use it as an influences account. If you can visit it any-time, let me know! xoxo
I have entered a competition for a potential Valentine’s Day outfit! I thought I would post this now rather than closer to the day seeing as it is my birthday and I will be very busy turning 19!!! Hope you guys like the outfit and have something nice planned! xoxo
So I have sent my UCAS off and am now hoping to receive some interview offers to study straight Fashion or Fashion & Textiles. I had my first interview at my University (UCA Epsom) for Fashion and decided to dress to impress! I wore my Barry M gold nail varnish as well for a bit of confidence!

I recently made some accessories at University made from recycled pieces of fabric. I did already blog about some of the pieces that I made but just this week I photographed my friend, and fellow blogger (http://madebyco-ge.blogspot.co.uk/) in my last … Continue reading
So I’ve given into the craze of Graze and my first box arrived today!! I’m so excited about this and loving the tokens that you get with it. For my first box, I received…Mississippi BBQ Pistachios (YUMMERS), apple cosmo (apple, lime raisins and cranberries), salsa fresca (coriander + lime salsa fresca & cheese sombreros) and honeycomb flapjacks with chocolate!!! I’m so excited and love the little drawings and typography on the mini boxes!!
I will start this post by saying I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a great New Years, however you chose to celebrate them I hope you had a fun and relaxing day!
My first item is actually a little something which I cheekily got for myself while I was Christmas shopping in Epsom near my University. It was at such an amazing price – I had to get it and just make everything in it!! I love Liberty, like most should, but unfortunately I haven’t had the time to visit the shop recently due to…well…funds and time! (I like to dedicate a day to Liberty!) So going through this book was just perfect!
A few little gifts that I received from my boyfriend (most of which were a complete a dndelightful surprise!) are shown below…
The necklacis beautiful and from Asos!
These earrings were from a little Peruvian stall from Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.
This was my New Years outfit which included these beautiful boots that he got for me as well!
I also received from my parents these amazing father Christmas socks, a flashing brooch and these earrings!! I love anything cute and slightly tacky for Christmas and I worse these items non-stop over the Christmas period with my Christmas Jumper!
My parents and brother also gave me some amazing books this Christmas; as they always do! They know what I love best!
The list includes; Chinese Food – Made easy – Ching-He HUang (I do love a good stir-fry!), Merry England The Eccentricity of English Attire by Merry Brownfield – with a foreward by Cath Kidston, MAKE – Cath Kidston, A Fashion Fairy Tale Memoir Christian Lacroix and the Tale of Sleeping Beauty, Kirtie’s Vintage Home – Kirstie Allsopp, The Scribblings of a Madcap Shambleton – Noel Feilding, The Metamorphosis – Franz Kafka
…And a Topshop gift voucher and subscription to Vogue!! I was so happy with such amazing presents and to top it all off a mannequin as well to help with my work!!!
Don’t get me wrong, I love more than most things to also give gifts and my family received just what they wanted and a not what they expected either this year from me! Everyone was thoroughly pleased! Again, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
